WHO disproves the swine flu cause of the laboratory experiments

World Health Organization (WHO) disproves the theory that Australian scientist, about the issues that the H1N1 virus spread due created in laboratory experiments.

“The evidence we found that the swine flu occurred purely because of the spread of the virus, not a virus that came from a laboratory experiment,” said Dr Keiji Fukuda speaking as Assistant Director of Public Health and Environment security WHO.

Xinhua, Friday (15/5/2008) spread, the WHO makes the conclusion after a discussion and assessment, together with scientists. This conclusion results also involve collaboration with the food and agriculture organization of the FAO and the world animal health organization OIE.

“Scientists who make the issue a very serious hypothetical. However, after examined and discussed further, we concluded that the hypothesis not really based on an accurate analyze and thorough,” said Fukuda.

Yesterday, Australian scientist named Adrian Gibbs reveal some of the evidence revealed that the virus is the H1N1 virus that spread at the time of the accident due to make a vaccine in the laboratory.

This statement had a jar of the world’s health, but regardless of what yesterday raised by Gibbs is still the allegations while.

WHO apparently quickly in response to respond to public pressure to make research more relevant allegations and immediately announced the results to the public.

Yesterday, Gibbs also said that he is ready in case the allegations that he said was wrong. But according to him most important is that authorities can provide information about the spread of this virus.

A lab accident cause of swine flu virus

An Australian scientist says, swine flu virus that is now apparently spread the popularity is due to an accident in the lab, which occurs when a group of scientists working to find the formula off the flu vaccine.

“I believe an accident in lab that have created the virus and are then spread to the whole world. This is because there are three different viruses in the flu vaccine for the pig,” said Adrian Gibbs, a virus expert retired Australian National University, as quoted by Press TV (14/5/2009).

Allegations made Gibs curious to investigate more about the genes that the virus known as H1N1, a virus which is a combination of a bird virus, human and pig.

As has been reported, six of the eight genes of flu virus infection of pigs originating from North America. While the others came from Eurasia (Europe and Asia), which is suspected of two parent viruses.

World health organization WHO and U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are requested to immediately conduct further research related to these allegations and immediately announced the results to the public.

Gibs is also ready in case this presumption was incorrect. But the most important is for the government to give clear information about the spread of this virus.

“Scientists will not believe until they actually find the fact that they are trained to search for the truth,” Gibs demolished.

The six fact of swine flu

The incessant of information that proclaims swine flu will be major cause of the people to know all the things associated with this death disease.

Here are six scientific statements about the swine flu cited by McClatchy, Friday (1/5/2009).

1. Explanation of the H1N1 virus
H1N1 flu is a virus carrier pigs. H is the initials of hemagglutin while N is neuramidinase, both of which sugar is a protein on the surface of live virus flu and spread the disease. There are 16 types of protein, called H H1 to H16, and nine types of N protein called N1 to N9. All protein has 144 possibilities combination with a new virus. For example, the bird flu virus also flare is a combination of H5N1.

2. Specialties swine flu virus causes
This virus is a combination of virus genes birds, pigs and humans, who have never been there before. So that people do not have immunity against this virus.

3. How the H proteins work
The H Protein looks like nails that pierce a small hole on the outside of the human or animal cells called receptor. Then, the virus will be able to go through the receptor hole. Once signed in, it will infected virus DNA in the cell nucleus and to utilize breed reproduce themselves.

4. How the N protein work
After it infected, the N protein will canal on the path to open the cell wall and release the children of the new virus, which then attack other cells. Without the N protein, virus infection will be limited to the first cell.

5. How a new virus growing
When the genes that govern the H and N protein grow, random changes occur, or is a mutation that can occur in the DNA. The changes accumulated gradually produce a more dangerous virus or penetration of cells more easily.

6. How the H1N1 move from animal to human
Usually the H protein on the bird and swine virus does not stick on receptor easily. So the man that free from this virus can not be infected. However, changes can occur in genes that regulate the form of H protein and allow the virus entry through the cell wall. This resulted in the child of H1N1 virus can adapt to the human body. If it is so, the virus can spread from human to human, as happens now.
