Hina, the coffee robot

Japanese society is very love robots. Not surprisingly, every time there will always be innovation in the new robot anime this country. Including one of the most recent is the coffee robot.

A tiny robot named Hina created to serve the coffee lover. Robot shape girls are designed to satisfy those who like coffee but lazy to make the coffee.

Hina has a special skill set to change the coffee beans into powder form, add sugar and cream and then serve to the coffee drinker. Such information is quoted from Slash Gear, Thursday (25/6/2009).

Raphael, the elegant hands robot

Robot technology by students from the Robotics Mechanisms Laboratory (RoMeLa) in Virginia Tech makes the hands robot that can move smoothly like human’s hand.

Hands robot is given the name of Raphael, which is short for Robotic Air-Powered Hand with Elastic Ligaments. Raphael can hold the ball and the eggs with a soft and flexible, so that the light bulb and the egg are not broken.

“This robot work with interesting method of finger with a very simple and elegant,” said the lab lecturer, Dennis Hong.

Scottish Robotics experts predict that robots can assist the task of household will be present and to sell in the market in five years.
