RAM is required by Photoshop store information while running the various commands. If not enough RAM, Photoshop will use the hard drive as a scratch disk. Space needed by the RAM for Photoshop scratch disk and each is 3-5 times the size of the file manipulated. For files that are too big, you can run a filter on separate channels so that only dealing with Photoshop files that only a third the size.

Selecting Scratch Disks

Use the fastest hard drives as the scratch disk, if available, select the type of hard drives with RAID. Select the disk that has a continuous space and do defragmenters periodically with the Windows Disk Defragmenter or from the Norton Speed Disk Utility. You can also partition the hard drive dedicated to the scratch disk. To change the scratch disk, select File> Preferences> Plug-ins & Scratch Disks.

Many websites have a kind of banner on the side of its Web site. It is a part of the head from the side and the name of the site, and perhaps even the navigation for the site. But how can a flag that looks professional?

There are several options that you need to use your head. It could be a digital photograph, art clip (from the computer generated or not) or a combination of both. You must decide whether your logo and / or navigation systems are in the header or in a different way.

If you make your header, there are some general guidelines to consider. First, rectangular and should not be too high. The largest is less content on your site that people see at first time. And the less the content, the less likely is that they drag on. My personal directive is a maximum of about 200 pixel high. There are some exceptions, but it is the general directive me.

If you header, do not forget that in all the details. Things like the rounded corners, color, shadow, partially transparent text, “stresses … Everything counts, and may be in your header much better look. Not every fact available, but 2-3 of them can be your head on this Level.

Once you have finished your header, which a few people to turn a blind eye to throw before it will live to your site. It allows, always one or two impartial opinion. Others go to the header for the first time, where you have been looking at it the whole time you have worked on it.
