“We agree with the middle one of the famous PC brand, to release a laptop based on Snapdragon. That plan will be release on our fourth quarter later,” said Qualcomm Vice President of Marketing Mark Hirschn, as cited by PC World, on Monday (1/6/2009).

According Hirschn, Snapdragon is microprocessor that a competitor of Intel’s Atom, the chip is running in the netbook.
