Like illusion become reality, a British explorer will be record-breaking odyssey from London to Tombouctou by flying car. Expeditions during the 42 days it will complete the journey as far as 6,400 kilometers.
Neil Laughton already conquered all the highest mountains in seven continents and the polar north. One of the cities in Mali, West Africa is indeed famous mysterious feel.
With a vehicle that’s designed for this mission, Laughton will run through France, Spain, Morocco and the Sahara desert before reaching the entrance to Mali through Mauritania. He must also fly in the top of Gibraltar as far as 14 kilometers to cross over to Africa and planned to fly across the Atlas Mountains in Morocco.
Vehicle is designed to run on the fly and land surface as needed.
A four-wheeled vehicle called the Skycar will used designed by a young designer named Gilo Cardozo. Vehicle is equipped with wings that can be set right in the left, behind a big fan, and a parachute is used for ordinary paragliding. Cardozo had to design a motorized paraglide used to go around the peak of Mount Everest in 2007.
To change vehicle from the ground into the air vehicle, Skycar takes only three minutes. Take time off, the driver’s wing. With the speed of only 70 kilometers far per hour and 200 meter runway, Skycar can be developed when the parachute paragliding. In the air, vehicle can move at speeds of 180 kilometers per hour.
